Australia’s Simon Taufel and Pakistan’s Aleem Dar would officiate in Saturday’s India-Sri Lanka World Cup final match to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Taufel, a winner of five consecutive ICC Umpire of the Year awards, had earlier officiated in the 2007 India-Pakistan T20 final. He was deprived off the opportunity of standing in the past four World Cup finals as Australia had reached the summit clash on last four occasions.

New Zealand’s Jeff Crowe has been named the match referee for the final while England’s Ian Gould and Steve Davis of Australia would officiate as third and fourth umpires respectively.
