Indian Premier League Kochi Team which will be making its debut in the Indian Premier League this season will be known as-Kochi Tuskers Kerala!
Kochi was first named as ‘Indi Commandos Kerala’ but the team management decided to change it after cricket fans showed their dislike for the name on social networking sites.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the IPL governing council have approved the official name of the team for the coming season.
Kochi play their first match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 9th.
