Royal Challengers Bangalore explosive batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan, who donned the wicket keeping gloves when AB de Villiers was ruled out of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament, says that he is ready to do whatever the team needs.

Dilshan said, “I started out as a wicketkeeper-batsman. But when I played for Sri Lanka, I opened the innings. RCB needed me to keep wickets (against Kolkata Knight Riders) and I put my hand up. I am ready to do whatever the team needs me to do.”

Talking about his team s chances to make to the semi-finals, Dilshan told The Hindu, “We have to defeat Somerset and then South Australia. We know that the nett run rate will come into the equation and we are looking at winning with a big margin but importantly we are looking at winning first.”
