Born on October 21, 1985, Zimbabwe bowler Tinashe Panyangara who was suspended from the national side during last month’s triangular series also involving Australia and South Africa, turned 29 on Tuesday.

Panyangara was suspended from the squad by the Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) due to ill-discipline and ‘disruptive’ behaviour during the team’s training session ahead of the first One-Day International (ODI) against Australia at Harare.

The Board said in a statement the bowler was not in the best of his behaviour but did not provide details of what exactly transpired. It was believed that Panyangara showed a clip of Mitchell Johnson tormenting England during the Ashes 2013-14 to his teammates and allegedly made fun of it, which was not liked by the team management.

Panyangara has played six Tests, six T20 Internationals and 34 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) for Zimbabwe. He has bagged 32 wickets in ODIs, nine scalps in T20Is and 17 wickets in the longest format of the game.
