Greetings everyone! Welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket coverage of the 14th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). Today’s first match will be played between the VB Thiruvallur Veerans and the Ruby Kanchi Warriors. After yesterday’s super-over classic, you can surely expect this one to be another thrilling contest. Both the Warriors and Veerans are coming in this game after losses in the previous game, although the Veerans are better placed than Warriors in the TNPL points table as of now. The VB Thiruvallur Veerans didn’t have a good last game. Their batting weaknesses were exposed and only Sanjay Yadav was a lone warrior for them. Their bowling too wasn’t up to the mark and they clearly struggled. They would therefore be hoping that they can somehow change their fortunes around as they meet the Ruby Kanchi Warriors today. The Ruby Kanchi Warriors on the other hand, can only be proud of the Super-over win that they achived in the tournament so far. Poor displays against against Dindigul Dragons and Chepauk Super Gillies have cost them. They are currently quite-low in the TNPL Points table and would surely want to improve as the tournament progresses.
