TUTI Patriots will be going up against Madurai Super Giants in Match 27 of Tamil Nadu Premier League 2016. It is a must-win game for TUTI Patriots as they have three wins out of six games with a net run-rate of 0.202. They will be desperate for a win in this match to claim a spot in the play-offs of first ever Tamil Nadu Premier League. Whereas Madurai Super Giants are yet to win a single match in TNPL 2016, they are currently at the bottom of the table with six losses in front of their name. Shijit Chandran will be leading minnows Madurai Super Giants whereas impact bowler Lakshmipathy Balaji will be leading TUTI Patritos as well as their bowling attack. Balaji has been influential in this tournament so far. His team won the previous game keeping their hopes for the play-offs alive. Patriots have been able to keep themselves in hunt despite experienced batsman Dinesh Karhtik by their side who is currently playing for India Blue in Duleep Trophy 2016 FInal.
Their wicketkeeper-batsman Arun Karthik and skipper Shijit Chandran have tried to contribute with the bat and change the game on their own but have failed to do so in the tournament as they did not get much support from their teammates.
