Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan played their final innings for Pakistan on Day Four of the third Test against West Indies. While Misbah was dismissed for just two, Younis made 35. Both of them were dismissed by leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo. Many took to Twitter to pay tribute to the duo with #MisYou. With that, it brings an end to an era in Pakistan cricket. Younis is the first Pakistan batsman to score 10,000 runs, while Misbah has scored over 5,000 runs for Pakistan. Younis made his debut back in 2000 against Sri Lanka at Rawalpindi, while Misbah made his Test debut against New Zealand at Auckland a year later. Both since have represented Pakistan in all three formats and have taken Pakistan to new heights. FULL CRICKET SCORECARD: PAK vs WI 2017, 3rd Test
Misbah took over as captain after the 2010 spot-fixing controversy that rocked Pakistan cricket. But Pakistan reached their highest point under him when they went to the top of the ICC Test rankings for the first time ever after their 2-2 series draw against England in 2016. Misbah also held the record of scoring the fastest Test ton – off 56 balls – before Brendon McCullum in his last Test appearance got there off just 54 deliveries. Misbah’s highest score of 161 not out came against India at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata in 2007. Live Updates: Pakistan vs West Indies 3rd Test, Day 4

Last time Misbah & Younis batted in a Test. Emotional occasion. But no sadness. Think of the good fortune of being in the same era as them!

Although Younis’ best Test score of 313 came against Sri Lanka in 2009, Misbah rates the 171 not out Younis scored in the fourth innings against Sri Lanka at Pallekele as his personal favourite. Pakistan won that match by seven wickets, chasing 377. It also included an unbroken 127-run partnership between Misbah and Younis.
