Umesh Yadav picks up his 50th wicket for India on second Day, fourth Test at against South Africa at Delhi. Umesh bowled JP Duminy with an excellent delivery, who became Umesh’s 50th scalp. Duminy was Umesh’s secind scalp of the innings as he had gotten rid of opener Dean Elgar for 17 before the tea break. Umesh was included in the side ahead of lef-spinner Amit Mishra and it has been an excellent decision. Umesh has been picked for the very first time in the series and has not disappointed his skipper or his selectors. Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma are the other two wicket-takers. Live Cricket Scorecard: India vs South Africa 2015, 4th Test at Delhi
Umesh had played 16 Tests before this match and has been a decent bowler for India. He is easily the fastest bowler India have at their disposal, although players like Ishant and Varun Aaron will not be far behind when it comes to pace. Aaron had been preferred over Umesh in the series but Varun’s has not been performing well in this series. India made 334 in their first innings with Murali Vijay scoring a century and Ravichandran Ashwin scoring a half-century. Kyle Abbott picked up five wickets and Dane Piedt picked up four wickets for the visitors. Live cricket updates: India vs South Africa 2015, 4th Test, Day 2 at Delhi
