England captain Andrew Strauss won the toss and elected to bat against Sri Lanka in their World Cup quarter-final match at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
England have named an unchanged team that won the last game against West Indies while Sri Lanka have brought in an extra spinner – including Rangana Herath in place of seamer Nuwan Kulasekera.
