Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) has eventually succumbed to the Committee of Administrators (CoA) pressure. Reluctant to share their members list, PCA made their list of voting members public. The ad-hoc-committee-run PCA has listed 182 members, of which only a few are former cricketers. The body will hold elections of September 24. The nominations will be filed on September 23 and new office bearers will be elected on September 24. We have been following the Lodha committee recommendations in total and I don t think there will be any hitch in the process, said RP Singla, as quoted by Hindustan Times. IAS officer DP Reddy, former PCA chief IS Bindra and his son Amarinder, and MP Pandove are among the prominent members. Former IPL chairperson Lalit Kumar Modi features in the list of PCA life members as well. Only 9 of the 182 members are former cricketers which is even less than 5 per cent.

MP Pandove, curator Daljit Singh, RP Singla, Rakesh Rathore, Rameshwar Dayal Singh, Akash Lal, Vinod Sharma and Balwant Singh are the cricketers in the members list. RP Pandove part of PCA interim panel

Bhupinder Singh Sr, President of the rebel ex-players body Punjab Cricket Welfare Association (PCPA) slammed Bindra and Pandove: I feel cheated by the likes of IS Bindra and MP Pandove. I have served Punjab cricket for so long and have played at international level. But today the whole cricketing fraternity of the state will feel cheated. They have simply forgotten to add names of cricketing heroes.

In 1993, we won the Ranji Trophy and there is not even a single member from that squad. Due to their vested interests they have brought down the faith former cricketers had in this association. said the former international cricketer. PCA forms committee to improve board s working after SC verdict

Big names like Navjot Singh Sidhu, Reetinder Singh Sodhi and Harvinder Singh are surprisingly missing from the list.
