United Arab Emirates skipper Khurram Khan registered his third score of fifty or more in the third One-Day international against Afghanistan at Dubai cricket academy. Khurram had become the oldest captain to score a century in international cricket with his match winning 132* in the previous ODI which was in follow up to a handy half century in the game before that. This is Khurram’s third ODI fifty. Earlier Afghanistan won the toss and sent UAE into bat, a decision they might come to rue as UAE top order have laid a solid platform for a launch in the final 10-15 overs. UAE and Afghanistan are in the middle of a four-match series in which the hosts UAE took an unassailable lead by virtue of winning second ODI. UAE are 228 for four in 45 overs.
