United Arab Emirates openers have brough up their 50 in quick time. UAE are off to a blistering start after being sent into bat by Afghanistan in the third One-day international at the Dubai Cricket academy. UAE and Afghanistan are in the middle of a four-match series in which the hosts UAE took an unassailable lead by virtue of winning the second ODI on the back of a scintilating century by their captain Khurram Khan. UAE had batted second in the earlier games and chased down the targets set by Afghanistan quite comfortably, so in that sense batting first an unknown territory for them in the series but their openers have responded positively to the challenge. UAE are 50 for no loss from nine overs.
