Veda Krishnamurthy made her debut in 2011 against England. Since then she has been a regular member of the Indian playing XI. In the year 2017 she played the most number of matches and scored 238 runs. Recently Veda has been honoured with Vijaya Karnataka sportsperson of the year.
Veda started her cricketing career at the age of 13. She later joined Karnataka Institute of Cricket under the supervision of Irfan Sait. Veda idiolised Mithali Raj at an early age who in 2017 took India to the World Cup finals. Veda played an important role in India's journey to finals. She made news when she scored quick 70 runs of 45 balls against New Zealand in a league match.
Veda also becomes the third Indian player to play the Women s Big Bash League (WBBL). Veda has contributed the team with her performance and will continue to do so. She
