Visitors and defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh, and Ambati Rayudu were involved in a heated exchange of words during their tie against hosts Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS), in Match 29 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016, at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Sunday. The incident happened during the end of the 11th over, when Saurabh Tiwary hit Harbhajan for a boundary towards wide long-on, as Rayudu’s attempted stop failed. A livid Harbhajan lashed out at him, to which Rayudu was unhappy. However, Harbhajan immediately calmed things down by going towards Rayudu. Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) locks horns with Mumbai Indians (MI) in Match 29 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 at Pune on Sunday. RPS bowlers outclassed MI batters in the tournament opener and started their maiden IPL campaign on a victorious note. It was the elegance of Ajinkya Rahane that MI could not dismantle to defend a paltry total. Since then, however, MS Dhoni’s brigade jumped at the doorstep of victory only once in the next 7 encounters. MI, on the other hand, have eventually placed themselves on the right track by forming a balanced team composition.
