The red-hot contest between World Cup semi-finalists India and South Africa kick starts on Friday. India will lock horns with the Proteas in a Twenty20 (T20) game at Dharamsala. Both the side wears a balanced look and on can expect a close encounter whenever the two giants clash in the long tour.
Star Sports came up with a video on South African reliable all-rounder JP Duminy, which portrays his strengths and weaknesses. He’s been a consistent performer for the team with the bat as well as with the ball.
In the above video, the stats say Duminy is more effective in away games in comparison to home ones. He has shouldered the middle-order responsibility with perfection and has been hand with the leather in the hand. His presence will be of utmost importance and lot of Proteas success will rely on his shoulders.
But the matter of concern for Duminy has been his form in Twenty 20 (T20) against India. In last five encounters he has scored just a paltry of 75 runs at a strike rate of 92.6. He will have to defy all the odds and make a strong comeback in T20s against India.
