Former Australian fast bowler Jason Gillespie, who is currently the coach of Yorkshire county team in England, has named his All-Time XI. In a video posted by Lord’s Cricket Ground on their official YouTube channel, the former Australian pacer picked his best players. The criteria of the selection is based on players should have played with or against them or have influenced by them. Looking at his openers, both are very well known for their destructive batting and they are none other than Matthew Hayden and Virender Sehwag. Gillespie’s no. 3 and 4 batsmen are probably the most popular batters at this position as they Ricky Ponting and Brian Lara. Indian legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar grabs the no. 5 spot in his XI followed by one of the best all rounder of all time Jacques Kallis and then Adam Gilchrist.
His bowling department looks quite lethal as it consists the best leggie Shane Warne followed by probably the best swing bowler Wasim Akram. West Indian legendary pacer Curtly Ambrose and former Australian bowler Glenn McGrath at no. 10 and 11 makes the bowling department perfect and attacking.
