Most of you must have watched MS Dhoni: The Untold Story? In one scene, on-screen Dhoni, played by actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was depressed due to his cricketing career failing to take off amidst services as a Ticket Collector. His senior, seeing him in a dilemma, suggested him to share his thoughts and feelings. When Dhoni (Sushant) remained mum, his senior stated, “Aree baat karna chahiye, mann halka hojata hai.” (One should speak up, it relieves the mind).
Dhoni, not the reel one, is a person who seldom shows his emotions, and keeps his cards close to his chest as a cricketer (and captain). However, Dhoni — man of few words — still manages to convey his opinion whenever required. (Journalists would surely agree with this).
During a promotional event for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in ongoing VIVO IPL 2018, when the former Indian skipper was asked who is the person he refers for sharing secrets, it raised the curiosity level of everyone. After all, he is a superstar cricketer who depicts minimal emotions on the field, and not much is known about him despite everything being in the open.
Known for his tongue-in-cheek-humour, Dhoni’s reply to the question won many hearts. In his blunt and sarcastic tone, Dhoni replied, “No one. Secret is a secret. It’s no more a secret if you share it with someone.” This evoked laughter in the hall, which also had his close friend and CSK teammate, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo and Faf du Plessis.
An absolute gem! When #Thala was asked who’s that one person with whom will he share a secret…Sir’s reaction is priceless! @msdhoni @imjadeja @EquitasBank #WhistlePodu pic.twitter.com/kST9hPGyjc

I bet some would have thought Dhoni to mention his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, or Raina’s name.
CSK in IPL 2018 so far
Despite having a few chinks in the armour, CSK have begun well after a two-year hiatus for spot-fixing scandal. They won the tournament-opener versus defending champions, Mumbai Indians (MI), and slammed Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Chepauk. Both the games were a thriller.
