In the ongoing first Test of the Frank Worrell Trophy between Australia and West Indies at Hobart, Nathan yon became the first Australian off-spinner to have played 50 Tests for his side. And Lyon certainly is making this big moment count with some wily bowling and brilliant fielding.

Batting first, Australia posted a mammoth 583 on the board in their first innings in reply to which West Indies got off to a shaky start after losing couple of wickets early on in the innings. Darren Bravo and Marlon Samuels were at the crease trying to sail West Indian ship out of choppy waters.

Lyon bowled one flighted delivery to Samuels who in an attempt to play it down towards long-off for a single only managed to get the ball in the air towards the left side of the bowler. Lyon had a clear look at it and dived towards his left and went for the catch with the hands to complete a spectacular catch. It’s a difficult one to grab for a bowler in his follow through but Lyon didn’t step a foot wrong.

Samuels was dismissed for a mere nine and West Indies were in all sorts of trouble at 78 for three at this dismissal. At tea, the visitors were precariously placed at 81 for four and were still trailing by 502 runs. Undoubtedly, this was one of the most comprehensive effort by a bowler.
