July 5, 2014, is a memorable date, as the God came out to bat in the ‘home of cricket’ for the one final time. This day at Lord’s, the world saw Sachin Tendulkar opening the innings for the last time in an exhibition match between Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and Rest of the World (ROW).

The Bicentenary Celebration match was a 50-over exhibition cricket match to mark the two hundredth anniversary of the Lord’s Cricket ground in London.

Tendulkar’s contribution has been enormous to the cricketing world. Tendulkar is popularly regarded as the demigod of cricket. Cricket would not have been the same without the legend.

The video displays Tendulkar and his opening partner Aaron Finch entering the playing arena of Lord’s and what’s fascinating is the reception he receives from the MCC members and the VIPs. It would have been every cricket fan’s dream to be at Lord’s and watch Tendulkar play for the last time. And it must have been a dream come true moment for Finch to be able to live this moment and walk out to bat with a legend like Tendulkar.

Ealier, he took the wicket of Yuvraj Singh, who was well set and was batting on 132. Eventually, Sachin led MCC to a seven-wicket win.
