Suresh Raina pulled off a blinder in the 38th game of the Indian Premier League against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens to get rid of Suryakumar Yadav. KKR were asked to bat first and they got off to a rocky start as they lost three wickets in quick succession with the new ball. Dwayne Smith was brought into the attack as there was enough bounce in the wicket to trouble the batsmen. He bowled a shorter one which took Suryakumar with a surprise as he tried to work it down the third man and got a bit more bat than he may have anticipated. The ball was flying away from Raina at first slip but the southpaw dived and stretched to the fullest to pull off a blinder one handedly. Everyone was stunned with this effort as the catch almost looked impossible. Virat Kohli has found a new fan in English football star Harry Kane
This was undoubtedly one of the most fantastic catches in the tournament so far and Raina certainly grabbed a beauty. This proved out to be the last wicket of the KKR’s innings as they posted 158 for the loss of four wickets in their 20 overs.
