There are many sportsmen who expertise in multiple sports. The likes of Ian Botham, Dennis Compton, Jonty Rhodes, among others have played more than one sport at a professional level. For that matter, even sprinters Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake claim to be excellent at cricket and football. Even the Arsenal footballers are quite experts when it comes to cricket.
Why not? Cricket is a huge sport in England. Recently, the Arsenal footballers took to the cricket field to flaunt off their cricket skills. Maybe, they have been heavily inspired by England’s Ashes performance in 2015.
In this video, we see winger Alex Oxlade Chamberlain keeping wickets and later he picks up the bat for a hit. Ace striker Theo Walcott pads up to bat and butchers one through covers. Goalkeeper David Ospina is seen bowling, as he delivers the ball, he stumbles and falls. All this takes place in supervision of English cricketer Ravi Bopara, who is seen rolling his arms over alongside Dutch all-rounder Ryan ten Doeschate.
The Gunners, who on Monday drew a game against Liverpool, are really seen having a ball.
