Manish Pandey‘s 99 not out steered Karnataka into the semi-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2014-15. Pandey’s knock helped Karnataka overhaul Mumbai’s 286 with four wickets in hand.
Karnataka won the toss and had elected to field first. Karnataka had the better of Mumbai early on as they had them at 59 for three in the 18th over. It was then that Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar Yadav got together.

In reply, Karnataka started very well with Robin Uthappa shaming a quick 43. At 84 for three in the 16th over, Stuart Binny and Manish Pandey came together. Binny hit 58 off 67 balls, while Pandey continued to score and took Karnataka closer.
After the fall of Binny, Karun Nair joined Pandey, who helped him take Karnataka closer. However, he fell with Karnataka in sight. Pandey ensured there were no further hiccups.
