Jharkhand won their second match to pocket four points and move to first in the group. Chasing a target of 222, they beat Assam by nine wickets with skipper Ishan Kishan hitting 139 from 91 balls, his second List A century and highest score in the format.

With Shahbaz Nadeem (3/47) and Utkarsh Singh (2/29) weaving a web around the batting, partnerships were not easy to come by and this allowed Jharkhand to take a grip on the game.

Their chase was a dominant one, with Kishan hitting 12 fours and nine sixes in an opening stand of 200 in 25.2 overs with Anand Singh, who was second for 56 off 63 balls in the same over.
