Mumbai will be bolstered by the presence of Rohit Sharma in the knockout phase of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy, with the selectors set to name him for a couple of matches as reported by the Times of India.

Mumbai have topped the Elite Group A and will face Plate Group leaders Bihar in the quarter-finals in October 14. The winner of that match will contest the semi-finals on October 17.

With India not playing ODIs against West Indies until October 21, the Mumbai selectors have opted to rope in Rohit for at least two matches, according to reports, with Shreyas Iyer to lead. The squad for the knockouts will be picked on October 10.
