Indian batsmen, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane put up the 50-run stand for the third wicket, against minnows, Ireland, in their Pool B, match 34 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Tuesday. Kohli contributed 23, while Rahane contributed 27 in the stand. Currently, India are 242 for the loss of two wickets in 35 overs, with Virat Kohli on 33 and Ajinkya Rahane on 27. Earlier, Irish skipper, William Porterfield won the toss and elected to bat first as Ireland were bowled out for 259, with Niall O’Brien being the highest scorer with 75 runs and Mohammed shami claiming three for 41.
