India’s Test captain Virat Kohli on Tuesday claimed that he was not a ‘relationship counsellor’, during an event in New Delhi. Kohli was announced as the brand ambassador of the luxury watch-makers Tissot, and during a brief chat with the media, the Indian cricketer looked in no mood to discuss either Bollywood or relationships. It must be noted that Kohli reportedly split with his girlfriend and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, a speculation that began after the two celebrities unfollowed each other on social media platform Instagram. Both Kohli and Anushka have not spoken anything on record about their relationship. ALSO READ: Virat Kohli to try hard to win Anushka Sharma back
During the event, when Kohli was asked to name a Bollywood celebrity whom he would like to give a watch — indirectly asking him to name Anushka. He was quoted as saying by the Indian Express, “I would gift it to someone in my family first. I don’t know why that question. What’s the connect? It could be a cricket team member as well. Let’s stick to what we are here for rather than trying to swing things in the other direction.” ALSO READ: Virat Kohli enjoying life after break-up with Anushka Sharma?
Kohli was asked one more question about having relationships, to which he replied that he was not a ‘relationship counsellor’.“Relationship with who? Anyone? I am not a relationship counsellor. So that’s not a question you should be asking me. Ask the expert please.” The video of the same is available below (courtesy: Indian Express):
Kohli and Anushka have reportedly parted ways because the Indian cricketer wanted to get married, and had even planned a vacation for the two ahead of the busy season. However, Anushka has just began shooting for a new movie with Salman Khan and this resulted in their separation. Once again, this is what the media reports have claimed and there is no official source or a confirmation about their break-up.
