India vice-captain Virat Kohli has not turned up for the press conference ahead of their clash against the West Indies at Perth in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 tournament on Thursday. As per the protocol, the Indian team always sends the ‘Man of the Match’ of their last game for the press meet ahead of their next fixture. Earlier reports said that Kohli had lost his cool after a training session at the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) Ground in Perth, on the journalist as Kohli thought this particular journalist had written an  article on the Indian cricketer’s relationship with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Kohli did not like what was written and thus the outburst.

According to PTI, it didn’t occur to anybody that something of this sort will happen. Once Kohli was done with his training and was returning to the dressing room, he saw a scribe of a national daily in front of him. To the horror of that journalist, Kohli started using filthiest of language and it went on for some time before he stormed off and some of the Indian team members looked amazed as to what exactly had happened. The report added that the journalist was also clueless as to why Kohli was hurling abuses at him. Once Kohli cooled down, he told the journalist that he was not happy with a particular story being written.
