Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli have notched up the best partnership for India in Sri Lanka in Test history at Galle International Stadium. Both of them went past the record held by Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir for adding 167 runs for the fourth wicket for India. Dhawan notched up his second hundred in a row after scoring 173 in the only Test against Bangladesh. Kohli is batting well and brought up his 11th Test ton. Sri Lanka are in danger of losing yet another Test at Galle. The stand also has the potential to be one of the best for India in Sri Lanka. They are currently at the fourth position just below Sachin Tendulkar and Mohammad Azharuddin who added 221 runs for the fourth wicket in 1997.
