Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have never shied away from expressing their love for each other. Barring a brief period, where the two looked like drifting apart, the couple has always stuck together through the thick and thin. Last year, Virat and Anushka attended Yuvraj Singh – Hazel Keech’s wedding together, as a couple. Recently, Virat also set one of his photos clicked with Anushka at that wedding as his Instagram account’s display picture. Besides, Anushka was with Virat on November 5 last year on his birthday, which the two celebrated in Rajkot ahead of India’s first Test against England. They even travelled together to the city for the special occasion.
So, on May 1, when Anushka celebrated her 29th birthday, all eyes were on the couple, with their fans wondering if the two will celebrate it together. It looked a tad difficult with Virat being involved with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad for the ongoing edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). However, if a report in the BollywoodLife.Com is to be believed, Virat and Anushka did take a small break from their schedules to celebrate her birthday.

Of late, the couple has become more vocal about their relationship. When Virat recently complimented his teammates Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma on Instagram for their #BreakTheBeard look, he also mentioned that he was in no mood to get rid of his beard. Anushka too had replied on the thread saying ‘he cannot’. So, exchanging of comments on social media, putting up pictures with each other and making public appearances without worrying about the media suggests the couple is in a happy space at the moment.
