Thiruvananthapuram: Team India earned a historic 317 runs victory at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Virat Kohli’s 46th ODI century and Shubman Gill’s second ODI ton helped the Men in Blue side put up a massive total of 390 runs batting first.
Then the Indian bowling line-up led by Mohammed Siraj bowled out Sri Lanka on the score of 73 and helped India to become the first team to record a victory by a margin of 300 or more runs. Siraj grabbed four wickets while Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Shami grabbed two wickets each.
Team India were in a great position in the game throughout the match and that’s why the skipper Rohit Sharma even gave Shreyas Iyer an over. Shreyas Iyer only gave 2 runs in the over. However, one of his balls is going viral all over the internet.
Shreyas Iyer’s bowling spin and Virat Kohli were surprised that it turned so much😂.

Virat Kohli’s hilarious reaction to one of Iyer’s balls that spin a lot has taken over the internet. Sri Lanka were on 55 for 8 and one of Iyer’s ball completely baffled the batter and almost missed the keeper too. Virat Kohli who was keeping in the first slip was surprised by the delivery. The reaction was quite expected as Shreyas Iyer is not a regular bowler.
Team India would face New Zealand in ODI and T20I series in their next assignment and would be confident with the winning momentum.
