Tuesday, May 1, 2018 marks Anushka Sharma’s 30th birthday. This is Anushka’s first birthday since her marriage to Virat Kohli, in December 2017. Their wedding affair topped the news charts for weeks. On the special occasion, husband Kohli posted an adorable picture on Twitter and wrote, “Happy B’day my love. The most positive and honest person I know. Love you.”

The couple have enjoyed some quality time together since marriage. BCCI had agreed to give Kohli a break during the limited-overs leg of the Sri Lanka tour. Later, Anushka accompanied Kohli to South Africa where the Indian captain enjoyed an incredible run. Kohli was again given a break during the Nidahas Trophy. Anushka, a successful Bollywood actor, has accompanied Kohli during the IPL 2018.

In Kohli’s absence from national team, Rohit Sharma did a commendable job as a stand-in skipper. However, on Anushka’s 30th birthday, it will be a Kohli vs Rohit clash at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rohit’s Mumbai Indians (MI) have had a torrid season at the ongoing IPL. The Tuesday match will be more a battle for survival.
Kohli will look forward to make this night memorable for himself and Anushka by bagging a win. Meanwhile, Rohit, too, turned 31 on Monday. The MI camp will be eager to gift their captain a win as a belated birthday present.
