Cricket fraternity reacted on Twitter as India posted an easy victory over Pakistan in the Super Six Match No. 7 of ICC Women’s World Cup 2017. India maintained their undefeated tag, winning all their group stage and Super Six matches, as they prepare for the upcoming final match of the series. On Sunday, India Women put up an all-round performance to first restrict Pakistan at 67 and then chased down the target with ease. India thus topped the table with 10 points in hand and will be immensely confident walking into the final match of the tournament.
Virender Sehwag tweeted in his usual hilarious style. He wrote, “Congratulations @BCCIWomen for defeating Pakistan by 7 wickets in Women’s World Cup qualifier 2017 #IndvPak . Ab to Aadat Si Hai !” and added a photo of the India Women’s team celebrating. Hemang Badani tweeted, “Many Congratulations to The @BCCIWomen’s Team on defeating Pakistan by 7 wickets in the Women’s WC Qualifiers. #IndvPak”. India won the match by 7 wickets. Pakistan Women have never been able to win against India Women in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). Here are the tweets by the two cricketers and others from the cricket fraternity:

Ekta Bisht excelled with the ball in the match, picking up a 5-for, and practically effected the landslide of wickets. Pakistan’s middle-order was sent back with nearly no contribution. Only two of the Pakistan batters could get to double-digit scores. Chasing the target, India got to the required runs with over 27 overs still required.
