Virender Sehwag is eager to make a comeback to the Indian Test team and is working hard in that regard. Reports suggest that Sehwag has travelled all the way to Chennai to practice at the famous MRF Pace Foundation.

Times of India reported that Sehwag flew to the city on Tuesday and would be looking to sharpen his skills. India have a tough tour to South Africa later this year and that would certainly be on Sehwag’s mind.

Interestingly, Sehwag will get a chance to work with the great Glenn McGrath, who is now the main coach at the foundation. In the recent times, Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay have usurped Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir’s spots at the top in the Test line-up.

While Vijay had an impressive series against Australia, Dhawan played only the one game and smashed a hundred on debut. Sehwag certainly has his work cut-out even as Gambhir is plying his trade in county cricket for Essex.
