India dominated Afghanistan in every aspect as they defeated them by an innings and 262 runs in their maiden Test at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. India scored 474 in their first innings after opting to bat. The Afghanistan batsmen found it hard to face the Indian bowling attack as they were bowled out twice post lunch on Day 2.
The relation between the two boards have always been very friendly and it was very much clear on the field as well. After receiving the trophy Ajinkya Rahane was seen inviting the Afghanistan team for a group image with the trophy. BCCI posted a video on their official twitter handle with caption “What a brilliant gesture from #TeamIndia to ask @ACBofficials players to pose with them with the Trophy.
