A shocking incident occurred when an anchor smashed a television set in pure rage. He was disappointed with Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant’s performance in IPL 2025 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Pant once again failed after the six-ball duck against Delhi Capitals (DC), he managed to score a run-a-ball 15 against SRH before being caught at short third.

Enraged with Pant’s performance, Sports presenter Pankaj lost his cool, smashing a TV screen and nearly overturning a table. Vikrant Gupta, veteran sports journalist who was also part of the discussion, watched the scene unfold with surprise and amusement.

“IPL is going on. He (Rishabh Pant) had his chance but I’m telling you, he has become predictable. You cannot trust him. What sort of a captain is he? We don’t need a captain like him,” Pankaj said during a live discussion on Sports Tak.

Despite Pant’s dismissal, LSG secured a convincing 5-wicket victory, prompting Pant to breathe a sigh of relief, labeling the outcome “a big relief’.”

Coming to the match, LSG opted to bowl first, and Shardul’s early strikes restricted SRH to 15/2. However, Travis Head (47) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (32) steadied the innings with a 61-run partnership. Later, SRH received valuable contributions from Heinrich Klaasen (26), Aniket Varma (36), and Pat Cummins (18), enabling them to post 190/9 in 20 overs.
