Axar Patel managed to dismissed Pakistan's key player Mohammed Rizwan, as he bowled out the skipper of the neighbouring nation during clash in the Champions Trophy 2025.

Pakistan team was batting first during the Champions Trophy 2025 clash against India. When bowling the second ball of the 34th over, spinner Axar Patel struck Pakistan skipper Mohammed Rizwan with a shocking delivery on the stumps. Rizwan stepped out and jerked himself in an attempt to make a big shot.

However, he missed the shot and the ball went straight to the stumps. The Pakistan captain went back to the dugout after scoring 46 runs off 77 balls.

As of now, the Pakistan team is at 212 runs for the loss of 7 wickets after 45 overs. This match is slow from the Pakistan side, as the players are taking more time than needed in order to score runs. Indian bowling on the other hand, is doing their job as expected, taking wickets at a continuous time intervals.
