Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals (DC) have landed in Ahmedabad for their clash against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium. The match is going to be held on April 19 3:30 PM IST.
On the day before the match, Axar Patel had a fun moment with GT pacer Mohammed Siraj, where they had a chat in Gujarati- a language which Siraj is not familiar with. The pacer is from Hyderabad, and hence does not have a great understanding of the language. Axar on the other hand, is from Gujarat, and is smooth with the local language.
In a video gathering quite a fair share of attention on social media, Axar Patel was spotted with Mohammed Siraj. In the video, Axar put one of his hand on Siraj’s shoulder and said, “Aa maara jigar no tukdo chhe“, meaning “He is very close to my heart.” When asked if he understood it, the GT pacer smiled and said, “Mera jigar ka tukda hai.”

This is not the first instance when Axar Patel has been spotted having some fun conversation with other players- he has previously been involved in a small Gujarati conversation with Mumbai Indians’ captain Hardik Pandya as well.
