Since the field umpires Chris Gaffaney and Joel Wilson declared that pace balls will not be delivered due to bad lighting, England medium-pacer Chris Woakes was seen delivering spin-balls to Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis.

Woakes was already done with two balls of his over, and then was forced to deliver four balls of off-spin. Watch the video here:

Since he did not have much experience in spin bowling, he saw a boundary in that over. Four of these deliveries also gave away six runs.

Just after the over of Woakes, the umpires declared that it got brighter when it was the final delivery of his over, and hence the pace balls were allowed once again.
