WATCH: Fan breaches security in Guwahati to touch Riyan Parag’s feet during KKR vs RR IPL 2025 clash between

During the IPL 2025 clash between KKR and RR, a fan breached security and ran towards Riyan Parag to touch his feet and hug him. The security was quick to come and escort the fan out of the ground.

Riyan Parag was the centre of attention as Rajasthan Royals were playing their first Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match in Guwahati. Riyan, who was filling in the place of the captain of Rajasthan Royals (RR), had full support from the crowd.

One incident happened where a fan breached through security and entered the pitch during the second inning of the match. When Riyan Parag was about to bowl his fourth over, a fan rushed on towards the stand-in captain while being barefoot to touch his feet and hug him.

This invasion led to the match getting delayed, but the security people immediately came and escorted the fan off the field. After that incident, Riyan received lot of support, but RR were unable to give out an outstanding performance.

Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Rajasthan Royals by 8 wickets in Guwahati, as they showed signs of consistency that they had in the previous season. Kolkata have recovered spectacularly after giving out a flat performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2025 season opener.
