An unexpected disturbance happened when an invader ran onto the field and tried to have an interaction with Indian batting star Virat Kohli on Day 3 of the Boxing-Day Teat at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The match resumed shortly after, when the security officers came in and took the invader off the field.
The invader shortly escaped the security before setting his focus on Kohli after running towards Rohit Sharma, who was in the slip position. When the invader went towards Kohli, the stadium’s security guards stopped him and took him off the field. The game was shortly stopped due to this interruption, but continued soon after.
