A major break in security has occurred once again at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, as three of the fans ran onto the field to meet Virat Kohli during Delhi vs Railways Ranji Trophy match. This is the second time in the ongoing series that a fan has managed to go past security and entered the ground.
It is normal for fans to desperately break through the security in attempts to come close to their cricketing heroes, but those scenes are usually seen in Indian Premier League (IPL).
However, Kohli’ comeback in Ranji Trophy after more than a decade attracted a lot of attention from the fans towards the domestic competition which would have been otherwise played in a stadium with empty stands.
The visuals of the incident have been making rounds on social media, where the security can be seen running behind the fans who entered the ground to meet their favourite player. Here is the video:

Coming to the match, Virat Kohli, who made his comeback in domestic tournament after 13 years, disappointed his fans as he got dismissed for just 6 runs on 2nd Day of the game. The former Indian captain was unable to bat in the second innings as Delhi defeated Railways by an innings and 19 runs.
