The ex-New Zealand batter in question here is Martin Guptill who showcased his hard-hitting prowess during a match in the Legends League Cricket tournament

Ex-New Zealand cricketer Martin Guptill showed that he has still got it as he smashed smashed 34 runs in an over during a match in Legends League Cricket (LLC). Guptill, who plays for Southern Super Stars, slammed 5 sixes and a four in an over off Navin Stewart during the match against Konark Suryas Odisha at Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.

The first 3 balls of the over were hit for 3 consecutive sixes as Guptill showed no mercy to the opposing bowler. The Kiwi hit the next delivery for a boundary before capping off the over with 2 more sixes.

By doing this, Guptill went on to break his own record which he had posted just a day ago, on Tuesday by hitting 30 runs in an over, the most for a LLC match.

Guptill remained unbeaten on 131 off 54 deliveries as his team clinched the match by 7 wickets.
