Jonty Rhodes is the greatest fielder ever. Period. Normally, players do their fielding drills with their team support staff along with other players. But Mumbai Indians fielding coach Rhodes, who has given many memorable moments during his playing days with his brilliant fielding skills, seems to have devised a new method of practice. Rhodes showed his catching skills and no, it was not a ball. He tossed his two-year-old daughter in the swimming pool and showed the world why he is a genius.
In place of a ball, he has used little India as his practice tool. Seems like the father and daughter are spending a lot of joyous moments in this cricket crazy land after whom she is named.

April 24 marks India’s birthday. She was born amidst the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2015, in the city of Mumbai. On this special occasion, Jonty shared a cute photograph from his official account.

Interestingly, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished the little one on Twitter. Interestingly, India shares her birthday with Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar, often regarded as cricket’s most complete batsman, was a Mumbai Indians’ player for the first six seasons and continues to be the side’s mentor.
Happy birthday to India, from India. 🙂 https://t.co/DbOZFEKLe9

Rhodes has been donning the job of fielding coach for Mumbai Indians since the first edition of IPL in 2008. The Mumbai-based side, who are topping the points table at the moment, play against Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) in the Maharashtra derby on Monday at the former’s fortress Wankhede Stadium.
