Delhi Capitals impact player Karun Nair was involved in a heated on-field exchange with Mumbai Indians star pacer Jasprit Bumrah on Sunday, April 14, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Nair looked in a sensational form, as he scored his half-century off just 22 balls while chasing a massive target of 206.

Karun was dismissed for 89, but he earned praise for his impressive batting display against MI. Karun took on star pacer Bumrah, smashing 18 runs in his second over, the most an Indian batter has ever scored against him in a single over.

The tension between Nair and Bumrah began after a minor collision while chasing the ball near the wicket, which sparked an argument between the two. Bumrah looked visibly upset, but the situation was defused after Karun explained what had happened. Later, Karun also had a discussion with MI skipper Hardik Pandya.

Coming to the match, Mumbai Indians secured a convincing 12-runs victory over Delhi Capitals. Tilak Verma’s 59 off 33 ball’s helped MI to reach a masisve score of 205. Ryan Rickelton (41 off 25 balls), Suryakumar Yadav (40 off 28 balls) and Naman Dhir (38 off 17 balls) also made contributions with the bat.
