The India pacer smashed Cummins for a brilliant six in the 68th over of the Indian innings, showcasing his batting skills

India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah showcased his batting skills on the fourth day of the third day Border-Gavaskar series at The Gabba. During the 68th over of the Indian innings, Bumrah played a highly impressive pull shot off Australia skipper Pat Cummins.

The ball ended up travelling all the way over the boundary ropes for a massive six. Bumrah looked very pleased with his shot while Cummins on the other end was left frustrated.

The duo of Bumrah and Akash Deep formed a valiant partnership of 39 runs to help India avoid the follow-on before bad light caused the play to end early.

India now head into the final day of the fourth Test trailing by 193 runs. The Men in Blue finished the fourth day on 252/9 after 74.5 overs. It will be interesting to see how many more runs can the duo of Bumrah and Akash Deep score on the fifth day of the Test.
