The most casual screamer you will ever see!

With game evolving, the fielding standards have taken newer heights. A catch near the boundary line demands high level of concentration and great presence of mind as the fielder has to be aware of where boundary rope is. One such instance of presence of mind was successfully displayed by Jerome Taylor when he plucked an absolute screamer to get rid of David Miller in the 19th game of 2015 World Cup between West Indies and South Africa at the SCG.
Batting first, South Africa were ripping through the Caribbean attack as they were comfortably placed at 328 for four inside 47 overs and looked well set for a mammoth score. Miller was set and as eying for some big hits when Andre Russell charged in and bowled a length delivery. Miller swung his bat but failed to get the core of his willow, although he got enough on it to let it sail over the mid-on boundary. Taylor was deployed at mid-on who had a clear look at it and was casually approaching towards it. After covering a reasonable distance, he leaped in the air while stretching his right hand and plucked the leather with utter ease. He made one of the most difficult catches in cricket look very easy and managed to send Miller back to the pavilion with this effort.
South Africa plundered 408 runs in their 50 overs and eventually won the game by 257 runs. Taylor’s catch will be remembered as one the coolest catches clinched by a West Indian.
