India left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav began his spell with a bang in the Champions Trophy final against New Zealand. He came into the attack and picked up the massive wicket of New Zealand batter Rachin Ravindra with an absolute peach of a delivery.
Kuldeep came into the attack right after the powerplay concluded and provided the Men in Blue with a massive breakthrough. Rachin departed after scoring 37 runs from 29 deliveries as the Black Caps got restricted to 69/2 after 10.1 overs.
Kuldeep’s delivery completely bamboozled Rachin, whose defense was completely shattered by the left-armer. The video of the Kiwi batter’s dismissal is now going viral on social media.
The left-arm spinner soon got another massive wicket and dismissed New Zealand star batter Kane Williamson in the 13th over. The experienced Kiwi batter was dismissed after scoring just 11 runs as the Black Caps were restricted to 75/3 after 12.2 overs.
Kuldeep will be looking to rack up even more wickets as the Kiwi innings progresses further. The Men in Blue will be counting on him as well as their other turners to provide them with the big breakthroughs later on in the innings.
