The Liverpool vs Manchester United fixture in the English Premier League (EPl) on Monday promised a lot. With exciting names on both the sides, it was one of the most awaited games in the recent times. Apart from some big names clashing on the field, the fans were also eager to see the battle between the tactical acumen of Jose Mourinho and Jurgen Klopp. However, all the anticipation turned out to be a dud when the match ended 0-0 draw. Besides the dull scoreline, the match also was full of dull moments, as there was hardly any action worth remembering from the game, barring one.
And surprisingly, it came from an outsider, a cricketer, instead of a footballer. Fans’ favourite the Universe Boss Chris Gayle was in the house courtesy Liverpool player Daniel Sturridge, whom he gave the credit for his presence at the Anfield in his Instagram post. The owner of a colourful persona, Gayle made the plain evening a bit interesting by singing Bob Marley’s ‘Three Little Birds’ at Anfield. He recorded a self video of singing the song and of the ambience and later posted it through his official Instagram account. The video, which was one of the most entertaining things to come out of Monday night, can be seen below:
It was a great atmosphere at Anfield. Thanks @iamdanielsturridge for the tickets.

In the video, the 37-year-old West Indies cricketer can be seen at the Reds’ home ground at one of the best seats in the house. He seems to have captured the video in a really good mood ahead the start of the game. Gayle, who apparently is a self-confessed Manchester United fan, was in the stadium courtesy Liverpool player Sturridge, and he even mentioned the same in his caption with the video: “It was a great atmosphere at Anfield. Thanks @iamdanielsturridge for the tickets.”
Earlier, a week ago, Gayle had posted a picture with his little daughter ‘Blush’ through his official Instagram account, writing: ‘Happy Weekend @krisallyna333’

The party animal from the Caribbean loves his daughter to the tee, doesn’t he?
