Harshit Rana, who made a debut in Test cricket for India, was bowling troubling lengths to Mitchell Starc in the morning session of Day 2 of the opening Test between India and Australia in Perth. Harshit was bowling different lengths to Starc as he was bowling round the wicket, and barely gave him any place to work with.
In his second over, Harshit bowled a short length delivery to that had some extra bounce due to the pitch. Mitchell was taken a bit by surprise by the bounce of the ball, where the edge fell short to the slip fielder. After facing that delivery, Starc had a few words to say to his former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) teammate.
As Rana delivered the short-length ball, he brought his tongue out since he had felt he got the wicket that time. Starc did not waste time and quickly stated that he bowls faster than the debutant bowler, adding that he has a long memory.

After a few overs Harshit managed to get the wicket of Nathan Lyon with a short ball, but Starc was standing on till the end until he got dismissed by Rana himself as the final wicket.
