Mohammed Siraj played with Virat Kohli in the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for seven years. Both the players had worked together on the ground for a long while. However, things took a turn on April 2, as Siraj was in Virat’s opposing team, Gujarat Titans.

This turned out to be a massive moment for Siraj, as he was visibly overwhelmed with emotions when opposing Virat for the first time. When he was about to bowl to Kohli, all his feelings seemed to have taken the upper hand, as he could not bowl on his first attempt.

During the Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Gujarat Titans clash at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Siraj had started the bowling attach. As he took his run-up to bowl and was right about to release the ball from his hand, he stopped and even seemed as if he was confused with where he was going.

Even though Siraj started the match with an emotional moment, he did not take long to control himself. Throughout the match, he took three wickets and gave out only 19 runs. He was even given the Player of the Match award for this outstanding performance.

Mohammed Siraj gave great shock to the Bengaluru team in the powerplay itself. The right-handed pace bowler secured the key wickets of Devdutt Padikkal and Phil Salt. His third wicket was of another great player, Liam Livingstone, which was taken in the final overs of the innings.
